Cheltenham (like other major sports betting events) attracts a huge amount of press, and as such also attracts a huge number of rookie punters. At the same time, it can also be assumed that it will attract a high level of participation from veteran punters, who will likely place more bets, and in higher amounts, then during the rest of the season. These two opportunities, while both excellent for affiliates, present a bit of a dilemma, as these types of players are very different, and must be approached uniquely if you are to achieve the highest revenue performance from this big event.
