Well, we recently had a chance to chat with Daniel, the Editor of OCR, some questions about their business. He took the time to tell us about how OCR got started out so many years ago, always puts players first, and some of the challenges they’ve overcome in recent years.
As an affiliate, what is the single most important rule you stick to, to ensure success?
The basic rule by which we abide, the first and most important thing we do before promoting any brand on the site, is check it out for ourselves in terms of the product’s quality. This may include several aspects from the player’s perspective, such as the product’s reliability, usability, customer support, a wide selection of payment issues and timely payouts, the product’s profile in terms of smooth and licensed operation and spam free policies.
How did you first get involved in the business?
Online Casino Reports was among the very first web portals in the industry. Over 10 years have passed since… Generally, most of the members of our team have been involved in the online gambling business from Day 1, some with the company and others with Playtech products of the mid to late 90s and others.
What do you most enjoy about your job?
The online gambling scene constantly changes. It requires an up-beat tempo and keeping our fingers on the pulse. We constantly seek new partners and clients, update information we already have, and upgrade our own site and technology accordingly, trying to keep a step or two ahead of the pack.
Tell us a story about some of the challenges you have faced as an affiliate ?
A few years ago, with the video boom that hit the Web as a whole, we were pioneers in bringing rich-media, video content to the industry. From setting up a studio – green screen and proper lighting, through training with cameras and expensive equipment, the videos we’ve done here in the studio have carried the site to new levels and our team members around the world in producing videos for online gambling.
What do you enjoy most about working with Income Access?
