Nicky Senyard at the Casino Marketing Conference

Casino Marketing Conference

Our intrepid CEO Nicky Senyard will be rocking the upcoming Casino Marketing Conference (at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, July 24-26) as part of a panel discussion on Thursday, July 26, at 1:45PM.

Nicky will be one of three panelists in a discussion on What Land-Based Casino Marketers Need to Know about Online Gaming and How It Is Marketed.

The panel is a type of online gaming marketing primer (an iGaming 101, if you will), and attendees will learn how online gaming marketing is different, how it is the same, and what skills they should be sharpening to take advantage of upcoming opportunities. The timing for this discussion is great, as it’s looking more and more likely that the online gaming market will soon open up in the US.

“Casino operators have to understand what’s coming,” Senyard said in a press release. “Marketing for online gaming can be very different from its land-based equivalent. Building alliances with established online gaming operators is a good first step, but there are a lot of other challenges: acquisition costs, for example, are higher, player loyalty can be more fleeting, and then there’s the issue of building trust in the gaming product itself.”

Two other panelists will share the stage with Nicky: Rob Gallo (President, Peak Marketing) and James Keane (Managing Director, International Markets, Sportingbet). All three will have the chance to present a topic, with Senyard covering many of the online marketing strategies used in iGaming (PPC, SEO, Social Media, Mobile Marketing and Affiliate Marketing).

As you may know, the Casino Marketing Conference is known for being something of a straight-talking, no-holds-barred senior level conference, and as such, it takes an unflinching look at a wide range of marketing issues related to nearly all facets of the gaming industry. Aside from a large and lively exhibit hall (over 35 exhibit booths), the conference will also feature presentations and panel discussions on issues like: social media marketing vs. traditional casino marketing, understanding the loyalty of VIP players, effective casino promotions, and adding value to your casino’s player’s club proposition.

In other words, you really should go. Just make sure to say hi to Nicky.
